Flash Professional is now Animate CC

Adobe finally decided to rename Adobe Flash Professional to Adobe Animate CC.Flash Professional will be renamed Adobe Animate CC, starting with the next release in early 2016.

Flash had been widely accepted as a vector based program.Best part was that it provided small file size which is actually the main concern when creating animations.Files being small in size could easily be transferred and uploaded to the internet.Flash also became widely accepted on the Internet.Many sites stated using flash since it supported all browsers.

Then with the launch of IPhone and smartphone in 2007 came a big wave of crisis. IPhone decided to reject the use of flash player. Suddenly there was all sorts of rumors that flash is now dead. Flash player was rejected but people thought Flash Professional was rejected. Flash was always confused with flash player and flash builder now the name Animate give it a unambiguous identity.

Flash has always been known to create animations for the web but with HTML 5, demand for animations that leverage web standards Adobe has now rebuilt its tools to incorporate native HTML 5 Canvas and WebGL support.

Not just the name but it now has even more powerful tools.Some of new features include Vector art brushes,360° rotatable canvas,Improved pencils and brushes,Easier audio syncing,Faster color changing,Colored onion skinning which will be useful for Drawing and Illustration.

Output capabilities includes Multiplatform support: HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, Flash (SWF), AIR, video, and custom platforms (such as SVG) via extensions .4K+ video export,Custom resolution export, .OAM support.

CreativeSync integration includes integration Adobe Stock and libraries.
